Pick your campaign launch date. Then, backtrack 3 months before that and mark that date on your calendar as the day you start telling everyone about it. Make a list of anyone and everyone, including all of the outlets in which you’ll tell and tap into about your fundraising campaign. Keep them up to date about launches, milestones and deadlines for donating. You have to be a pest, otherwise it'll get lost in the mix of other items on their to-do list - trust me, people forget easily and need many reminders. Don't be afraid to "bother" them.
